After two marathons I fell out of love with running, I basically got bored. I was encouraged to enter the London Triathlon Sprint and have started enjoying training once again. Stairs at work have become a struggle once more.

eBay, running, work and the Tittcombs = Tired

Crikey, I'm tired. Sunday started with messing about until 2am with eBay stuff. Kay and I are selling everything that isn't tied down in our house. It's for the money for old rope fund, hopefully all the crap we sell will make enough money to either by the same amount of new crap from eBay or half the amount of brand new stuff. That or pay our rent, we haven't decided yet. Even though we have about 75 things to get on eBay currently there is only one item listed, my playstation 2 which I haven't used for ages. To go and have a bid (It's already at £5!!!!) here's the link PlayStation2 CONSOLE + 4 Games PS2. eBay shenanigans continued this morning with Kay writing the descriptions and me taking arty shots for the pictures.

I then went running, a 11 mile session today, unfortunately I can't give you a better estimate than about 1hr 50mins for the timing because my bloody HRM watch went into cardiac arrest! Bloody thing went black, then cleared, and then went black again all the while making a "flatline" beep. Damn thing! It came back and was ok for 8+ miles but I was annoyed because I lost the data from the first ~3miles of the run.

When I returned from this epic journey, I was told that we should have been at Kay's mums for 17:00 and it was already 17:00 so we were already late with the 20 min drive included. Oops, luckily no one was that bothered and I was back out of the house within 20mins. Not a bad turn around if you ask me, about the same as Easy Jet.

The Clan Tittcomb family get togethers are always fun but very active events. With three little 'uns playing all sorts of running about games this was indeed a further drain on my limited energy. Not that I didn't enjoy it, good grub and the amusement at Kay's nut allergic brother (David) eating Kay's left over nut cutlet (we had beef :) and don't worry he was fine!) keep me going. Another plus was the present that Kay's brother's family bought her for her birthday (Her Amazon wish list for any of you wishing to buy presents!-> Kay's wish list of fun), it was a Fred Perry bag which just fits her laptop perfectly. Kay had a hankering for a new pretty laptop bag so David and Faye have saved me from a day of nightmarish bag shopping yey! The visit ended with Kay struggling to breath as she has somehow become allergic to the cat she saved and brought home with a "Can we keep him" whine in her youth. Go figure, stupid spaz lungs asthmatics.

I then had to go to work. Two hours of boring labelling and transfering liquid from one bottle to another in front of a busen burner was not very fun! Anyway I did it and got home with just enough to write my blog, make a card for Kay and eat some curry! Yey.

Before I go, please read my poor friend Phils blog, he seemed to have hard day on Friday. I don't know if he's updated his blog but the Rochdale game the poor git drove up for was called off due to a frozen pitch. Never mind Phil.
