After two marathons I fell out of love with running, I basically got bored. I was encouraged to enter the London Triathlon Sprint and have started enjoying training once again. Stairs at work have become a struggle once more.

OH SHEEET

Erm... I am currently panicing. I just hurt my ankle. I was sat on my feet and got up funny and I heard a big crack (Nothing scary in the crack, like when your knees crack) but now I am getting pain in my ankle. I can walk wih no problem but I think toadys run will be cancelled. Just when you thought that I'd cracked the training (excuse the pun) and it was just the marathon to do.

Balls.

I'll update later.

Call yourself a true Lancastrian. The odd broken ankle never stopped me you know! Oh, actually it did didn't it. Anyway, three months on crutches and a couple of years later, I am up and running again.

I leave the long distance stuff to the more wirey members of the family in you Ed, and Mike. I'll be with you in spirit Ed, I promise.

I notice from your blog entry that Toady isn't running either. Typos are so much fun, and I am as guilty as the next person

Meany! At least Mark Radcliffe felt sorry for me. I moaned into radio two and got a mention and turn turn by the byrds dedicated to me! I also made the buggers laugh, I must be funny if national radio thinks so. The ankle is felling better after sitting on top of a couple of pillows for a bit. So I think (fingers crossed) it'll be fine by tomorrow.

Toady isn't running because if you've seen neighbours recently he's in no fit state to run any sort of distance.
